Bermuda-based Allied World Assurance Company announced that Susan Morgan has joined the Company as its Senior Vice President, Ceded Reinsurance. Morgan has 24 years of experience in the field of ceded reinsurance, and will be responsible for analyzing Allied World’s global book of business and purchasing appropriate reinsurance across its business segments.
President and CEO Scott Carmilani commented: “We are pleased to welcome Susan as part of our global team. Her experience will serve as a valuable asset to Allied World and will better support our reinsurance buying practices.”
Morgan joins Allied World from her previous position as Sr. VP -Ceded Reinsurance for ACE USA in Philadelphia, “where she managed the ceded reinsurance unit in support of a $6.1 billion operation comprising the eight business units of ACE USA,” said the bulletin.
