ACE Bermuda has appointed Anup Seth as Managing Director of ACE European Markets. He will assume responsibility for the general day-to-day management of ACE’s Dublin-based operation, which was established in 1997 to “provide low-frequency, high-severity excess capacity to European and international clients following the underwriting discipline and guidelines developed by ACE Bermuda,” said the bulletin.
“I am delighted to announce Anup’s appointment,” stated Rees Fletcher, ACE Bermuda President and CEO. “His knowledge of the ACE organization and experience in Bermuda will stand him in good stead as he takes leadership of ACE European Market’s continued growth and profitability.”
Seth started his career with ACE in 2001 and has held various actuarial, modeling, reserving and management roles. He joined ACE Bermuda in July 2004 as Chief Actuary from ACE European Group in London. Previously he worked as Head of Products and CRM at Misys Interactive Trading and as a Senior Consultant in Non-life Insurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, both in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
