Bermuda’s XL Capital Ltd. has named Frederick R. Loeloff as Senior Vice President of Ratings and Finance Development, reporting to Global Treasurer Michael E. Mathisen.
“Mr. Loeloff will be XL’s primary contact with all ratings agencies and will manage all ratings agency relationships, strategies, models and initiatives,” said the announcement. “In addition, he will also coordinate financial support analyses and advisory services to XL’s Corporate Development team.”
Loeloff joined XL Global Services Inc. in July 2003. At that time, he managed XL’s Capital Management Program. Prior to joining XL, he served as a Director in Standard & Poor’s Insurance Ratings and has 20 years of insurance industry experience. He holds a BA in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
Commenting on Loeloff’s appointment, Mathisen stated: “I am pleased that Fred has agreed to take on this role, which I believe is a natural fit for him given his professional experience. I have had the pleasure of working with Fred in his previous roles at XL, and I look forward to relying on his expertise and advice in his new role.”
