Marsh UK has promoted Roy White as practice leader of its Financial and Professional Services Practice (FINPRO), in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
He is based in Marsh’s London office and will assume overall responsibility to lead and grow FINPRO’s business across the region. He will report to Julian Wallers, Head of Multinational Business at Marsh.
White was responsible for the retail division of FINPRO UK until early 2005, when his responsibilities were extended to include continental Europe.
Wallers noted that his appointment “will allow him to build upon his success in leading colleagues, establishing strong client relationships and putting the client at the centre of all activity.”
White indicated that the “risk environment for financial and professional service firms is growing in complexity with firms facing more significant regulatory challenges.” He expressed confidence that the team at Marsh was well constituted to “address the broad range of issues that companies face.”
