Europ Assistance, one of the UK’s leading providers of domestic emergency assistance, said that in response to concerns from its customers regarding property and personal security, it’s adding a “Nationwide Property Watch” as an option within its domestic emergency proposition.
The Nationwide Property Watch provides the Police and other Emergency services with vital information on how to contact a customer should anything happen to their property while they are at work, on vacation or out of the country.
“Customers also have free access to the National Serial Number Register which enables them to register serial numbers of their valuable possessions online,” the bulletin notes. “If the worst does happen and then the items are stolen and recovered, the Police can directly access the database in order to identify the rightful owner.”
