Mini's and a Delorean Top UK's Favorite Famous Car List
British auto insurer elephant.co.uk recently announced the results of an unusual survey it conducted. It asked UK drivers to name their favorite famous cars in television series or films that were popular when they were growing up.
The winner - "The Italian Job" Minis.
The other fondly remembered vehicles were listed as follows:

Ceri Assiratti, Managing Director of elephant.co.uk, noted the nostalgia element in the choices, indicating that it "guides people's feelings when it comes to their favorite famous cars." She added that the top three selections also show that "people love a bit of excitement when watching cars on screen."
The survey also found differences in how men and women choose their favorite cars. Women favored Herbie, the fun loving VW Beetle, while men preferred the Italian Job Minis.
