Marsh has announced the appointment of Artur Niemczewski as Chief Executive, Multinational within Marsh UK. Multinational comprises Marsh’s large account practices and specialty businesses. He will report to Marsh UK CEOMartin South.
Niemczewski joins Marsh from Willis, where he held a number of senior positions, including Chief Operating Officer, International. Most recently he led the transformation of Willis’ specialty and wholesale businesses. Previously, he held executive roles with AXA Insurance, Capital One and McKinsey. Niemczewski holds PhD and MSc degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
South noted that Niemczewski’s skill would be “complementary with our existing team,” and would ehance “change leadership and business discipline. He has a proven track record of success, including in revitalizing businesses to deliver outstanding results.”
