Marsh has announced a new corporate division within its UK & Ireland business. Bringing together its National Corporate and Risk Management Practices across the region as well as Marsh Risk Consulting, the corporate division will serve mid-size and large corporates across the UK & Ireland as well as multinational clients’ operations in the region. The division will be led by Joe Grogan, previously leader of the National Corporate Practice. He will report to Mark Weil, CEO of Marsh UK & Ireland.
The newly-formed corporate division will also include Marsh’s claims, sales and specialist consulting expertise.
Marsh has also appointed Charles Beresford-Davies to lead the Risk Management Practice. This will focus on meeting the needs to the largest corporations with the most complex risks and will have colleagues based across the UK & Ireland.
Peter Mellor has been appointed leader of the National Corporate Practice, which will service national and mid-size companies by offering specialized insurance and risk management support. Both he and Beresford-Davies will report to Grogan.
Marsh also announced the appointment of George Davies to the newly-created position of chief client officer for the UK & Ireland. Reporting Weil, Davies will represent clients in the strategic decision-making process across the UK & Ireland.
