Chubb Europe Makes Management Changes; Marcello for Financial Lines

Chubb Insurance Company of Europe announced two appointments in its financial lines business. Julie Marcello has been named to the role of European Chubb Specialty Insurance Manager. Chubb Specialty Insurance (CSI) manages financial lines insurance through its Executive Protection and Department of Financial Institutions teams.

Her appointment follows the return of Gardner Cunningham, previously the International and European CSI Manager, to Chubb in the United States where he will focus solely on his International management responsibilities.

Marcello will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of CSI in Europe. She has been at Chubb for fifteen years, during which time she has led teams and managed CSI business on four continents across eighteen Chubb branches in nine countries. She was previously UK & Ireland CSI Manager, a role which she held since 2009.

Chubb also announced that Dave Woolard has been appointed to the role of UK & Ireland CSI Manager, replacing Marcello. He has over twenty two years’ experience in the insurance industry, eighteen of which have been within the Financial Lines, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role. Woolard was previously UK & Ireland Manager for the Executive Protection business in Chubb Specialty Insurance.
