One poster referred to recycling efforts as a “nice philosophy.”
It seems like an uphill battle sometimes to try to get people concerned enough about the environment to take steps to alleviate the massive destruction caused by pollution.

And I remember in 2009 when Joe Biden among others testified before congress that the polar ice caps would be completely gone by 2013. Turned out they had the biggest ice gain in the past 11 years in 2013.
Clearly if I think that liars of the highest order (politicians) have been vastly overstating the direness of the situation of “climate change” that means I am on a one man mission to destroy the environment. Never could a conservative be a conserv-ationist…

What does NASA know any how? Not near as much as the Koch Bros and Exxon Mobil, that’s for certain. Dumb rocket scientists and their cold hard facts! Or, in this case, cold melting, softening facts.

This is all too bad. One city in CA stated it would take them 10 years to get the permits to open up their salt filtering plant as well as to get it operational again to start pumping water from the ocean to offset their drought. Of course the first part was to get the town counsel to agree that they should.
Now what?
