March 26, 2015

Miller, the London-based specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has hired Simon Milner, in a production and broking role in the cyber and technology area.

In a press release, Miller said the appointment underlines its plans to build on the growth of its cyber and technology book, further consolidating its position in this class of business.

“Simon is one of the originators of cyber and technology insurance broking, and I am delighted we have added him to our market-leading team. It is a risk area that is increasingly relevant to every business globally and we are well placed to meet increased demand,” commented Tim Norman, joint head of Professional Risks.

Milner has over 30 years of insurance market experience and has been broking cyber and technology risks since 1997. He began his career with Alexander Howden where he became an associate director before joining Jardine Lloyd Thompson in 1991 where he was a Partner prior to joining Miller.

He will work alongside Nick Fearon and the cyber and technology team in London.
