Chubb Names Product Line & Customer Segment Leaders for Continental Europe

Chubb has appointed the team that will lead product line underwriting and distribution for its Continental Europe region.

Each of the newly announced positions will report to Steve Reiss, chief operating officer, Continental Europe, unless otherwise stated. The appointments follow:

Financial Lines

  • Jose David Jimenez is Financial Lines manager, Northern Europe, with responsibility for the Germanic region, Benelux, Nordics and Poland/ Czech Republic/ Hungary. Jimenez formerly served as financial lines manager, North Continental Europe for legacy Chubb. He will continue to be based in Dusseldorf and will have a matrix reporting line into Timothy O’Donnell, executive vice president, Financial Lines, Overseas General Insurance.
  • Andrea Marega is Financial Lines manager, Southern Europe, with responsibility for France, Iberia, Italy and Switzerland. Marega formerly served as Financial Lines Manager, Italy, for legacy ACE. He will continue to be based in Milan. Marega will also have a matrix reporting line into Timothy O’Donnell.
  • Brian Vosloh is Financial Lines Underwriting Operations manager, Continental Europe, reporting to Jimenez and Marega. Vosloh formerly served as Financial Lines manager, South Continental Europe for legacy Chubb. He will continue to be based in Barcelona.

Property and Technical Lines

  • Property. David Snanoudj is property manager, Continental Europe. Snanoudj formerly served in this position for legacy ACE. Snanoudj will continue to be based in Paris and will have a matrix reporting line into Jarrod Hill, executive vice president, property, Overseas General Insurance.
  • Technical Lines. Hervé Cosson is technical lines manager, Continental Europe. Cosson formerly served in this position for legacy ACE. He will also continue to be based in Paris and will have a matrix reporting line into Jarrod Hill.
  • Energy. Edwin Schleich, energy manager, Continental Europe. Schleich formerly served in this position for legacy ACE. He will continue to be based in Frankfurt and will have a matrix reporting line into Matthew Hardy, senior vice president, Global Energy, Overseas General Insurance.

Other Commercial Lines

Each of the following positions will be based in Paris.

  • Marine. Benoît Chasseguet is marine manager, Continental Europe. Chasseguet formerly served in this position for legacy ACE. He will have a matrix reporting line into Andrew Williamson, executive vice president, Marine, Overseas General Insurance.
  • Casualty. Jérôme Salmon is casualty manager, Continental Europe. Salmon formerly served in this position for legacy ACE. He will have a matrix reporting line into Mark Homan, executive vice president, Overseas General Insurance.
  • Cyber. Kyle Bryant is cyber risk manager, Continental Europe. Bryant previously served in this position for legacy ACE.
  • Environmental and Custom Industry Solutions. Dorothée Prunier, Environmental Risk and Custom Industry Solutions manager, Continental Europe. Prunier formerly served as Environmental risk manager, Continental Europe for legacy ACE. Prunier will have a matrix reporting line into Karl Russek, senior vice president, Environmental Risk, Overseas General Insurance.

Accident & Health

The following individuals will continue to provide leadership and support for Chubb’s accident & health (A&H) business in Continental Europe:

  • Corporate and Affinity. Stéphane Baj, regional director of Corporate and Affinity for A&H in Europe. Baj formerly served in this position for legacy ACE and will remain based in Paris, reporting to Drazen Jaksic, senior vice president, A&H for Europe.
  • Travel. Jose Luis Gomez, regional director of Travel, Europe. Gomez formerly served in this position for legacy ACE and will continue to be based in Madrid, reporting to Drazen Jaksic.
  • Direct Marketing. Israel Rayan, Direct Marketing director, Europe. Rayan formerly served in this position for legacy ACE and will continue to be based in Madrid, reporting to Drazen Jaksic.

Sales and Distribution

Each of the following positions will report to Steve Reiss and will be based in Paris, unless otherwise stated:

  • Olivier Reiz is Sales and Distribution director and Middle Market Segment leader, Continental Europe. Reiz formerly served as Sales and Distribution manager, France, for legacy ACE.
  • Stefano Vincoli continues to serve as legal representative for legacy Chubb in Italy and will additionally take on the new role of director of Distribution and Product Development for Italy when integration is complete. Vincoli was formerly country manager, Italy for legacy Chubb. He will continue to be based in Milan and will report to Orazio Rossi, country president, Italy, with a matrix reporting line into Steve Reiss.
  • Fabien Vaillant is SME Segment leader and Chubb Easy Solutions manager, Continental Europe. Vaillant formerly served as EASYACE manager and Financial Lines Middle Market manager, Continental Europe, for legacy ACE.
  • Peter Graswinckel isGlobal Accounts Segment leader, Continental Europe and Global Client Executive, Benelux. Graswinckel formerly served as Global Client Executive and Sales and Distribution leader, Benelux, for legacy ACE. He will continue to be based in Rotterdam and will also have a reporting line to Ron Verhulsdonck, country president, Benelux.
  • Rémy Massol is Multinational Practice leader, Continental Europe. Massol formerly served as Multinational Practice leader, Continental Europe, for legacy ACE.
  • Ana Thomas is Global Services leader, Continental Europe, reporting to Rémy Massol. Thomas formerly served as Multinational Service Unit manager, France, for legacy ACE.
