Insurance Auto Auctions Inc., a provider of automotive salvage and claims processing services headquartered in Schaumburg, Ill., announced that it has retained Synergetics Installations Worldwide Inc., a New Hampshire-based consulting firm with expertise in creating and implementing efficient operating standards and “best practices” within field operations and information systems.
An experienced Synergetics’ team has begun work to design and apply new standards and practices to improve operational efficiency, standardize processes and implement tools to measure performance within critical areas of field operations. The team has been tasked with completing delivery and implementation of standardized key processes with new and meaningful measurement tools.
This will enable IAA to strengthen business processes and improve customer service allowing the company to operate more efficiently. The resulting model will be adopted by field operations and integrated into the next-generation IT platform currently under development by SEI Information Technology. Full implementation and integration with the company’s new information system will be targeted during the 2002 fiscal year.
