Online insurance certification provider, NetStudy, based in Northbrook, Ill., announced a partnership with Professional Training Services Inc. (PTS), a local company with a specialty in professional designations for the insurance industry.
As a result of the merger, NetStudy will add more than 50 new courses to InsuranceStudy.com, NetStudy’s flagship product that leverages Internet technology to provide complete online courses, exam delivery and real-time insurance certification.
The merger is expected to enrich NetStudy’s current curriculum by adding professional designation review courses to address the needs of Chartered Life Underwriters, Chartered Financial Consultants, Registered Health Underwriters, Registered Employee Benefits Consultants, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, Associates in Risk Management (ARM) and Associates in Claims.
Joel Weiner, president of PTS, will assume the role of Chief Knowledge Officer for NetStudy.
Under the agreement, the newly added courses will be delivered to insurance professionals through NetStudy’s patented modules. NetStudy, a licensed provider of continuing education in 40 states, allows users to take exams, track their earned credits and deliver results to state licensing agencies from their desktops.
