Illinois-based Insurance Auto Auctions Inc., which provides automotive salvage and claims processing services across the U.S., appointed Edward N. Fares as the company’s new chief information officer (CIO).
Insurance Auto Auctions CEO, Tom O’Brien, said the company believes that that Fares’ track record of successfully executing similar, large-scale projects will be integral in ensuring the completion by 2002 of the company’s systems redesign project.
Fares has more than thirty years of systems design and implementation experience. He most recently served as senior vice president and chief technology officer at eTrak Corporation.
