United Heartland, a writer of worker’s compensation policies in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, has launched Inside UH, a new feature on its web site designed to streamline information associated with workers’ compensation insurance policies.
Agents and clients looking for monthly loss reports, accident claim forms or information on back belts and other workplace safety issues can log onto United Heartland’s web site at www.heartland.cobaltcorporation.com.
Inside UH is a secured Intranet site within the United Heartland web site that requires a user identification and password. It is accessible only to agents, clients, and employees. Traditionally, reports were mailed to agents and clients each month. Now, anyone with access can log on, view the information and have the option to print the reports or even download the data.
United Heartland is one of only a few workers’ comp insurers to offer this service online. United Heartland President Emil Pfenninger said he believes the new system will reduce the time it takes to process accident claims, lower administrative costs on producing and save mailing monthly reports.
Clients can also obtain updated provider information and a PPO directory online.
