Applied Systems Introduces New Consulting Services

March 19, 2002

Illinois-based Applied Systems®, an automation solutions provider for the property and casualty insurance industry, has introduced 10 new “premier” services available through its consulting division, Applied Consulting Services (ACS).

These consulting services cover strategic and tactical planning, mergers and acquisitions, incentive and compensation, IT and disaster recovery, operational analysis and improvement, e-commerce for agencies, sales and marketing, training and retaining top employees, and customers service.

These programs, combined with more than 20 other highly specialized services from Applied Consulting, were developed to assist insurance organizations in utilizing systems and workflow procedures for maximum efficiency. Since 1990, Applied Consulting Services has assisted agency clientele in a variety of critical areas; such as system utilization reviews, accounting procedures, custom application and report development, and profit center planning. Emerging trends, such as e-commerce and financial institutions offering insurance, have created a stronger need for peak operational and systems performance.

The new services will allow agents and brokers to better evaluate individual performance needs as well as develop “best practices” techniques and habits, according to Amy Newbanks Letke, executive vice president of Consulting & Client Services for Applied Systems.

Applied conducts a thorough “needs analysis” during each consultation session to determine what solution is best suited for the agency, Newbanks Letke added.
