Missouri-based Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a provider of product management software and services to the insurance industry, announced that Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Group has selected its EXAMPLE Platform Product Suite for technical services.
The software, which includes the EXAMPLE Express(TM), EXAMPLE Author(TM), EXAMPLE Server(TM) and ManuScript Templates(TM)) provides “complete policy processing from quote and issuance to complete policy administration. Implementation and production are on track for Fall, 2002,” said the company’s announcement.
Bruce Lidstrom, Indiana Farmers’ VP of Underwriting, endorsed the decision. “We spent quite a bit a time looking at various vendors. Once we met with Duck Creek and saw the EXAMPLE Platform product, everything fell into place for us,” Lidstrom stated. He praised the products as making it much easier to replace and improve the existing system, and the speed with which the new programs were able to be constructed.
Andy Yohn, VP for development at Duck Creek, obviously pleased by the selection noted, “Indiana Farmers Mutual did a great job in defining their solution requirements. From the outset, things just seemed to be a made-to-order fit; from functionality, to technology, to the synergy between the two teams. Because Indiana Farmers Mutual knew so well what they were looking for, they were able to quickly recognize the best solution for their business.”
