State Auto Financial Corporation announced that Elaine Roberts, the executive director of the Columbus Airport Authority, was recently elected to the company’s board of directors.
She was formerly the executive director of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation in Warwick, RI, immediately prior to coming to Columbus, and also served as deputy executive director of the Indianapolis Airport Authority in Indianapolis, IN.
The bulletin described Ohio-based State Auto Financial Corporation as “a regional property and casualty insurance holding company engaged primarily in writing personal and commercial automobile, homeowners, commercial multi-peril, workers’ compensation and fire insurance. The company currently markets its products through more than 22,000 agents associated with approximately 3,500 agencies in 26 states,” primarily in the Midwest and Eastern United States, excluding New York, New Jersey and the New England states.
