The AMVISTA Group, a unit of American Workers Assurance, made its Michigan debut recently by opening an operation in Grand Rapids. The AMVISTA Group offers a high value workers’ compensation insurance product through independent agencies in the greater Grand Rapids area and throughout Michigan.
The AMVISTA Group focuses on providing workers’ compensation insurance and related consulting services for businesses that may have historically demonstrated a high frequency of worker injuries, but are committed to preventing any future injuries through implementation of accident prevention programs and techniques.
“The AMVISTA Group works under the guiding principle that all workplace accidents are preventable,” CEO Ray Jacobsen said. “We put our team of experts to work at our clients’ job sites to help eliminate accidents and injuries.”
Jennifer Carney, account executive; Jeff Mather, accident prevention consultant and Ken Murphy, service coordinator, make up the new Grand Rapids team.
