Itasca, Ill.-based brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Emil J. Bravo and Norman P. Darling to the position of corporate vice president.
Bravo has 26 years of experience within Gallagher Bassett Services Inc., Gallagher’s third party administrator. He started as an adjustor in 1977 and over the years was promoted through the management ranks at Gallagher Bassett to his current position of executive vice president. He is in charge of all sales and marketing responsibilities within Gallagher Bassett as well as all the managed care strategies and initiatives.
Darling joined Gallagher Bassett Services Inc. in 1980 as a senior business systems analyst and was heavily involved in the development and implementation of the company’s Risx-Facs Data System. Over the next 17 years, he served as the director of business systems and then vice president of operations and support. In 1997, he was promoted to executive vice president of the account management division.
