The St. Paul Cos. announced that Gregory Vezzosi, a 27-year veteran of the property-casualty insurance industry, has been named senior vice president, Specialty Commercial. The appointment is effective immediately.
Vezzosi brings to his new position significant insurance industry expertise and experience and will oversee specialty commercial businesses including Public Sector Services and Global Technology Underwriting. Vezzosi will report to Mike Miller, President & CEO, Specialty Commercial and will be based in Saint Paul.
During the course of his 27-year career, Vezzosi has held various senior and executive management positions at two insurance companies. He spent 20 years at Chubb & Son in underwriting management and branch executive management roles. He also spent seven years in executive management roles at Royal & SunAlliance in Charlotte, N.C., most recently as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer.
