For the fourth consecutive year, the Indiana Young Agents Committee (YAC) enjoyed a tremendous amount of success in the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) annual Young Agents Committee national awards.
Indiana YAC followed up its three-peat as the best young agents committee in the country for the last three years by winning two more awards for 2003 — Outstanding Membership Development and Runner Up for Outstanding Young Agents Committee in the country.
The awards were presented at the IIABA’s annual Young Agents Sales and Leadership Conference at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas Sept. 20.
The Runner Up for Outstanding Young Agents Committee award recognizes the outstanding efforts made by a state young agents committee in the areas of political involvement, membership development, communications, state committee project, and the young agents meeting as well as a committee’s promotion of the independent agency system.
The Outstanding Membership Development Award recognizes excellent achievement in recruiting and maintaining Young Agent participation in Association and YAC activities. Indiana YAC took home two of the seven awards that were presented.
