Kirk Hansen has joined the Independent Mitigation and
Cleaning/Conservation network in its national office in Chicago.
In his new position, Hansen will be responsible for marketing and will work directly with insurance claims executives in the strategic development of services on behalf of the network’s members. Hansen will solicit their issues and insights in order to help IMACC shape itself and its specialized mitigation and restorative services into an entity that is completely responsive to the evolving needs of insurers.
Hansen comes to IMACC from the Alliance of American Insurers, a national trade association representing 340 property/casualty companies, where he was the director of claims. In that capacity, he served as an insurance industry spokesman and expert on a variety of claims issues.
He previously served as claim manager for Waste Management Inc. in Oak Brook, Illinois. He has also worked for Crum & Forster and Aetna Life & Casualty.
