The National African-American Insurance Association convenes today in Chicago and expects more than 200 to attend. As of two days ago, the group was still soliciting additional registrations, though it’s unclear whether on-site registration will be allowed.

Highlights today include a lunch keynote speech by Zurich North America Middle Markets President Donald J. Huerzler, a panel discussion featuring CEOs of black-owned insurance companies and a seminar on supplier diversity for the insurance industry.

Friday’s itinerary includes a networking luncheon and a black-tie dinner featuring Peter Marsh, the president of Marsh USA’s North American operations, as keynote speaker. The conference ends Saturday. Click here for the complete schedule.
