Chicago-based Acordia Inc. became the largest insurance brokerage to date to adopt The Agency Manager Vision Series,
the enterprise agency management solution from University Park, Ill.-based Applied Systems Inc.
Acordia reportedly chose the Vision Series with resounding endorsement from its parent, Wells Fargo & Co. Acordia is the fifth largest U.S. insurance brokerage and the nation’s largest bank-owned insurance brokerage.
Acordia’s commitment underscores Applied Systems’ success in developing Vision into a “cutting-edge solution” suited to large brokerages, according to a jointly released statement.
“Acordia chose Applied Systems because of the company’s proven experience in the insurance brokerage community,” said Kristin Stanziale, Acordia’s CIO, in a statement. “Vision is a superior product for our large brokerage, and Applied’s experience and organizational strength will ensure a successful enterprise agency management implementation for Acordia.”
“The decision to adopt an enterprise system will enable the organization to integrate with Wells Fargo client-focused applications, implement standardized business processes, and implement a single financial management and reporting process,” said Acordia CEO Kevin W. Conboy said in the statement.
