St. Paul Travelers announced the debut of a new Web site housing more than 1,400 risk management resources for customers, agents and brokers.
Resources are said to include the latest research reports and news on safety topics and trends, detailed safety guides on a variety of issues such as product liability and fire protection, survey tools and safety assessments, and hundreds of industry-specific safety management resources.
Among the online resources available, according to a statement released by the St. Paul, Minn.-based insurer:
—A variety of industry-specific customer newsletters, such as the Risk Control Issues News Brief, a monthly publication with articles on a variety of topics related to workplace safety, health concerns, property protection and product safety;
—Hundreds of technical bulletins outlining clear and concise safety standards and guidelines for various industries, such as manufacturing, construction, retail and technology;
—A comprehensive section devoted to the risk control needs of small businesses, including CD- ROM trainings, guides to exposures such as property protection, and bulletins on technical issues such as business continuity planning;
—Course information and registration for St. Paul Travelers’ Safety Academy, which offers classroom training focused on helping businesses identify safety concerns and reduce losses. Examples of courses include fleet safety management, effective supervisor training, and fire prevention and protection.
