Wisconsin-based property/casualty carrier Wausau Insurance has rolled out the latest in a series of Wausau Express package policies for property and general liability, with the newest versions designed to streamline coverage and save money for restaurant and hospitality businesses.
The Wausau Express package reportedly policy combines many tailored coverages into a single property and general liability policy form. The restaurant and hospitality package policies are the latest in a suite of industry-specific Wausau Express products that will be tailored to additional industries later in 2005.
Standard coverage extensions built into Wausau Express restaurant coverage include, but are not limited to:
—Food contamination;
—Lock re-keying or replacement;
—Newly acquired or constructed property coverage extended to 180 days;
—Property in transit extended to property in salesperson’s care;
—Spoilage;
—Utility services extended to off-premises.
Standard coverage extensions built into Wausau Express hospitality coverage include, but are not limited to:
—Amendment of limits for designated locations;
—Contingent BI from dependent properties;
—Guest emergency evacuation expense;
—Guest relocation;
—Incidental medical malpractice
—Lock re-keying or replacement;
—Newly acquired or constructed property coverage extended to 180 days’
—Tenant’s relocation expense
