Minneapolis-based RTW Inc., a leading provider of products and services to cost-effectively manage both insured and self-insured workers’ compensation programs, reported net income for the first quarter ended March 31, 2005 of $1.0 million or $0.20 per basic and $0.19 per diluted share compared to net income of $930,000, or $0.18 per basic and $0.17 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2004.
On April 15, 2005, A.M. Best affirmed the financial strength rating of B+ (Very Good) for American Compensation Insurance Co., RTW’s subsidiary, and revised the outlook upward from “stable” to “positive.”
