The Society of Insurance Licensing Administrators (SILA) has named Kansas Insurance Department employee LeRoy Brungardt the Warren E. Spurill Regulator of the Year-2005.
“Naming Leroy as this year’s recipient is not only a reflection on the caliber of his leadership, but is also a reflection on the Agents Division and the Kansas Insurance Department,” said Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger. “The speed of response time and processing of license applications and appointments by the Department is recognized through the naming of this prestigious award.”
Brungardt has been Director of the Agents Division of the Kansas Insurance Department since January of 1999.
SILA was established in 1990 to bring together licensing experts whose occupations encompass all aspects of licensing.
