Specialty insurer RLI has selected the WebWriter(TM) Cargo software solution from Insurance Systems Inc. of Toronto for policy processing and certificate issuance in the insurer’s new marine division.
Branded “MarineExpress,” the system allows RLI Marine’s brokers and clients to transact business over the Web, including new business quotes, credit card transactions for certificate purchases, as well as reporting and other account services.
The latest version of WebWriter Cargo includes tools to enforce internal Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and interfaces with the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Specially Designated Nationals (SDN), Blocked Persons List, and the Lloyd’s Register – Fairplay database of ocean-going vessels.
Peoria, Ill.-based RLI provides property and casualty coverages and surety bonds serving “niche” or underserved markets. RLI operates in all 50 states from 23 office locations.
