    Adjusterjoe:
You\’re an idiot! Preferred shop or not fraud is fraud. Where were you with your reinspection program to make sure this didn\’t happen? Body shops have been, and always will be thieves, trying to get away with anything and everything they can. I\’ve been in insurance claims since 1970 and nothing has changed. Ever wonder why insurance premiums are so high? Your attitude is part of the problem. The majority of shops do nothing more than change parts. The \”art\” of actually straightening and aligning metal is almos extinct. The only way to prevent this is for carriers to have an aggressive reinspection program, or place adjusters in shops. Major problem to be sure.

You make my point better than I did. If the carriers are going to get in bed with the body shops, they should live with the stealing. This will all come down to opinion as to whether it should have been repair vs replacement. If the carrier did not have a reinspection program in place, they should eat their losses and run. If you wnat a professional job done, hire a professional adjuster, not a body shop.

body shops members of State Farm\’s \”PREFERRED SHOPS\”. If so, no illegal activity here. State Farm agreed to the shop and whatever the shop could get would be fair game.

What do you mean, adjusterjoe? That cheating State Farm and policyholders is somehow allowable? Why would that be?

What kind of logic is this! Just because it\’s a \”Preferred Repair Shop\” for State Farm does\’t mean that the shops did\’t commit fraud. So let\’s see – your health care provider has a network of doctors it works with, the doctors commit fraud, and it\’s the health care provider\’s fault. Get real!

If the body shop is on the preferred list, then State Farm has given their seal of approval. If so, they should make the best of the bed thay made. Experience tells me that most customers would not go on thier own to the \”preferred shop\”, but are sent there by the agnet and adjuster. If the company sets these shops up, then they should live with the esimates they write. Same with the contractor programs.

The shops are in effect acting as adjusters and by default, the carrier has an obligation to accept their pricing or remove them from the program.

Its common jealousy, every single industry in this country has twisted the law and get away with it. This young business owner runs a business very efficiently and follows the law and unfortunately some unidentified liars are simply jealous of his sucessions. He obviously does well for himself and people are JEALOUS!

Please have no sympathy for those who try to defraud others!!! Jealousy is a lousy person for identifying with such people.

I worked for Norman and at several of his shops that are involved with this fraud they are all guilty. I watched them desrtoy cars on a daily basis, a minimum of 75k a month at each location I could not believe the millions that Norman’s shops brought in. I could tell you true stories that would make your head spin I turned in evidence so that crook could be prosecuted, him and all the rest. Fred Bino at Platinum and his side kick wally wall banger. and Edmond Dehko your guilty too!!! the employees taht work ay any collision connection know what is going on all of them know! all damage that comes in gets a huge addional for example 1500 turns into a 5500 dollar claim or more I hope they all pay the piper on the day of sentencing. Al Dabish you are acrooked cop you wrote more false reports than anyone in history of law enforcement your as roten as they come. LIAR
