Quote of Note
It’s a place where a handshake means a lot, and your word is your bond. There’s a certain roll-your-sleeves-up mentality.

Three Insurance Companies Placed in Liquidation in Illinois

It’s official. The governor of IL is an idiot. If this sticks, his political grandstand play will hurt the people of IL. It probably will get shot down. Unbelievable naivety.
His previous employment was at the Politburo in the old USSR.
This governor still has no budget for the 7-1-07 to 7-1-08 year keeping the legislature in session at a cost of $250,000 a day and he is messing with things like this which are feel good legislation. We have no companies that rate renewals on an idividual basis. Even Blue Cross with a 40% market share does not do this. As for divulging profits most companies are public and report their profit quarterly already.
He is just trying to deflect critisism from his inablity to do his job and get a reasonable budget passed.
Did you know in his last two budgets his own party has had to have him sign letters of understanding on what budget items are & how money will be spent because he has lied to his own party so many times.
If you thought George Ryan was a crook well slimey Rod is going to jail for a much longer time
I haven’t been keeping up with this particular state. The dumbing down of America is affecting more than just kids because when the get older they are like these state employees and do great damage.
