Ohio Casualty Group, now operating as Ohio Casualty, a regional company within Liberty Mutual Agency Markets, was honored recently with the 2007 National Company Award of Excellence by the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA).
The annual PIA National Company Award of Excellence recognizes companies for their commitment to PIA, the American Agency System, and to furthering the interests of and creating a better business environment for independent insurance agents.
Ohio Casualty is part of Liberty Mutual Agency Markets, a business unit of Liberty Mutual Group, consisting of property and casualty specialty insurance carriers that distribute their products and services primarily through independent agents and brokers.
Ohio Casualty Territory Vice President Bob Fehrenbach accepted the award during a ceremony held last week in conjunction with the National PIA Board of Directors meeting in Albuquerque, N. M.
“We are very honored to receive the 2007 Company of the Year Award from PIA,” said Mike Winner, president and chief executive officer, Ohio Casualty. “We have a long tradition of fully supporting the independent agency system through our partnership with PIA and our continuing efforts to offer competitive products, services, and state-of-the-art interface systems. As a new member of Liberty Mutual Agency Markets, we remain focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with our local independent agencies.”
