I can guarantee none of my pets (fish, cat and sometimes rats) could have saved me in the same situation.

Now, will be get a rate cut if he keeps the parrot since it’s a proven safety device?

What a nice surprise to see an interesting story with a happy ending in IJ. My amazon parrot used to live with my Dad at an assisted living facility. The bird learned to mimic ambulance sirens since he heard so many. My Dad had to be moved to an end apartment where the siren sounds wouldn’t alarm the nursing staff or other residents.

Now that Monty lives with me he still makes siren sounds but I don’t mind a bit.

I am allergic to bird feathers so I don’t have one. Maybe I should just deal with it and get a parrot! :)

Maybe the idiot should get a real fire alarm that he can hear – Or put one outside the bedroom as well like the rest of us.
