The Independent Insurance Agents (IIAI) of Indiana recently announced that they held thier IIAI 2007 Achievement Awards ceremony and dinner on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 at the Westin Hotel, Indianapolis.
Recipient of the “2007 Agency of the Year” was Schultheis Insurance Agency, Inc. of Evansville, Ind. Brett Schultheis, CPCU, and president of Schultheis Insurance Agency, Inc. accepted the award on behalf of agency.
According to the IIAI, the award is presented to an agency that exemplifies leadership and innovation within the independent agency system. Schultheis Insurance Agency, Inc. is the recipient of this award because of its growth in premium volume and policy count; commitment to sound business practices, such as established marketing plans, agency perpetuation plans, etc.; automation; involvement in the industry; and involvement in IIAI programs and activities, as well as involvement in the communities of Evansville, Mt Vernon, and Greenwood. The sponsor of this award is Indiana Insurance Co. of Indianapolis.
The Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana is a trade association representing over 800 independent insurance agencies in the state of Indiana.
