Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, a long-time, active member of the Insurance Institute of Indiana, has been recognized by the association as the Institute’s Insurance Grassroots Network Company of the Year. The company was also honored as the recipient of the Institute’s Membership Engagement (M.E.) Award.
The Insurance Grassroots Network includes nearly 1,000 volunteers, including more than 300 Farm Bureau employees. The company’s President and CEO Jerry Canada accepted both awards during the association’s June 12 annual meeting.
Each year, the Institute recognizes an outstanding Insurance Grassroots Network company for their employee efforts directed at contacting their state legislators on insurance legislation pending in the Indiana General Assembly. The company of the year is awarded to that company attaining the highest level of involvement and effectiveness.
The M.E. Award was created to honor the Institute member company that most actively embraces their role in the organization for the previous year.
The Insurance Institute of Indiana is a non-profit trade association representing insurance companies in the state of Indiana.
