Utility crews from Wisconsin Public Service prepared to go to Texas on Septembr 15 to help restore power to victims of Hurricane Ike have been redirected to Ohio.
Ten crews are responding to a request from American Electric Power of Ohio where strong storms have left 500,000 without power.
The crews are from offices in Green Bay, Antigo, Waupaca (wah-PAK’-ah), Merrill, Wabeno (wah-BEE’-noh), Eagle River, Minocqua (min-AH’-kwah) and Michigan assembled in Wausau before leaving for Ohio
