Motorists Mutual Insurance Company recently launched two new products for franchised auto dealerships and enhanced two existing products for garages and nonfranchised auto dealerships that help independent agencies offer products best suited for the particular needs of their customers.
“We understand the risks garage and dealership owners face. Our commitment to service, plus recent additions and enhancements to our product lineup offer owners of those businesses peace of mind,” says Grady Campbell, vice president of Motorists Mutual Property and Casualty Marketing.
The new products and enhancements include:
Select Dealers: New product developed for qualifying franchise auto dealers. It packages some of Motorists’ top dealer coverages, such as repair reimbursement and mechanics professional liability, to offer customers robust protection in one endorsement. It’s available to franchised auto, motorcycle and recreational vehicle dealers.
Select Dealers Plus: Qualifying franchised dealers may be eligible for the new Select Dealers Plus Program. It includes all of the coverages of the Select Dealers Program and adds more features, including Auto Dealers Products Suits, Title Paper Preparation Errors and Omissions Liability and Dealers Economic Loss.
Select Garage: Currently available for qualifying auto service and franchise auto dealers, it provides a broad package of enhancements. Now, it will be available to a preferred class of nonfranchised auto dealers rather than just franchised dealers.
Broad Form Garage: Form available to any garage business written by Motorists, now with more competitive pricing.
The Motorists Insurance Group is based in Columbus, Ohio. The group of companies is composed of nine property and casualty, life and brokerage companies that operate in 38 states.
