The Chicago West Suburban Chapter of the CPCU Society has a new board of directors in place for the 2009-2010 year.
Joseph Harrington is the new chapter president, succeeding Elizabeth Lupetini, who moves on to become a district governor for several chapters in Illinois and Iowa.
Harrington is director of corporate communications for the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS), a national advisory organization based in Wheaton, Ill.
Lupetini is vice president of compliance in the Chicago office of Unitrin Direct.
Peter Quirk a national accounts sales consultant in the Lisle, Ill., office of the Insurance Services Office (ISO), succeeds Harrington as vice president.
Staying on in their positions from the previous year are secretary Regina Dienberg, a director of the GSL captives unit in CNA’s Chicago office; and treasurer Paul Higgins, a senior manager with the business risk services practice in the Chicago office of Ernst &Young.
Newly-elected directors include Lee Balcerak, formerly a zone vice president with State Auto Mutual; Marie Ward, formerly a senior vice president and general manager of Liberty Mutual’s Midwest regional personal lines operations; and Valerie Wyatt of State Farm, who has passed all exams and will serve as new designee representative.
Directors staying on include Claudia Gamache, Gamache Insurance Group/Allstate, Lockport, Ill.; and William Snow of MIC Brokerage, Naperville, Ill. Gamache and Snow are both past presidents of the Chicago West Suburban Chapter.
