…what the hell is wrong with people? Gee its halloween…lets burn down the city! Seems logical to me. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. No i wasn’t referring to the Obama administration…although……
Call out the National Guard and authorize them to shoot looters and arsonists on sight. Drop 2-3 on the ground and I bet there won’t be a recurrence next year.
“Devils Night” as it is referred to in D-Troit, is a perennial event where blacks with no brains and nothing better to do go on an arson spree and burn things down. No, I’m not racist. It’s well documented fact that it’s only the blacks that engage in this ritual. Thus far, they’ve restricted their stupid and dangerous activities to their own hood/ghetto. That’s why nobody gets too excited. It is a costly event for the already economically ruined city since the police and firefighters must respond. Why the city tolerates this is beyond comprehension. Is this what supposedly civilized human beings do for fun? No wonder D-Troit is a lost cause.
p.s. I think Dave’s suggestion is a good one. K-9′s would have an impact as well.
Arthur, you are a small man. Anyone who states “I’m not racist” and then goes onto to disparage “blacks” about their “ghetto/hood” is as much a part of the problem as the people involved in this ridiculous event.
What’s the basis of you taking umbrage to Arthur’s comments? Having lived and worked in Detroit (as I presume he did too) I believe him to be on point. This is unique to blacks and involves their own neighborhood. Even the article referred to abandoned/dilapidated homes. That’s their neighborhood. They seem to like arson. Were you around during the race riots in the mid 1960′s? They burned the city down then as well. I challenge you to name one other city in the country and one other ethnic group that engages in arson every year like they do in Detroit. And forget about being “politically correct”. Call it like it is. Commenting on an issue is not contributing to it.
No Dee, you are the small man or woman, for trying to find racism where there is none. Arthur said nothing racial, it was fact. Do you work for Obama because they seem to enjoy throwing the race card. And where is Jessie and Al addressing this problem in Detroit? Oh I forgot they are doing more important things like keeping law abbiding people from buying sports teams.
I’ve got the marshmallows. Who is bringing the chocolate & graham crackers!
Do you ever wonder why people become racists?
Is it the high black crime rate?
Is it the high black high school drop out rate?
Is it the high black unemployment rate?
Is it the high black incarceration rate?
Is it the high black illegitimacy rate?
Is it the inability of blacks to use plurals?
Is it the high black incidence of single parent households?
Is it the disregard and lack of respect some blacks have for themselves, the country, the laws and other people?
Or is it just because some people want to be racists because it’s fun?
I wonder………..
Go Lions!
You know, looking at the other side of this coin, The city could use this ritual to reduce the urban blight that they cannot take care of with a 300 million dollar budget shortfall. Control the burn, use it as a training exercise for the volunteer departments in Southeast lower Michigan. Reduce the unsafe abandoned homes and buildings.. I’m sure this thought is appauling to some but it may be a practical solution to a problem the city has been struggling with. No I’m thinking about environmental impact because I have rose colored glasses on.
Haha Devils Night Was By Far The Best Night Of The Fucking Year, Oh How I Miss My Detroit
And Actually It Wasn’t Just Blacks Back In 96 For Example (I Was There) White People Were Doing Crazy Shit To
