Programs and environmental insurance veteran David Blum announced the opening of D.S. Blum Inc., a wholesale insurance brokerage headquartered in suburban Chicago.
The brokerage will focus on assisting small and mid-size retail agencies in placing contract bonding, insurance programs and products for companies with direct and/or third-party environmental exposures. Target enterprises include remediation and restoration contractors and consultants, general construction, trade contractors, gas stations and manufacturers. Contract bonding is also offered for non-environmental operations or projects.
D.S. Blum will also offer monoline workers’ compensation coverage for various “high hazard” industries, with an emphasis on safety, return to work and loss control programs.
David Blum has 26 years of commercial insurance experience.
