City of Hope’s Midwest Committee of the National Insurance Industry Council (NIIC) is hosting Aim to Strike Out Cancer, an evening of networking for insurance industry leaders along with fun, non-competitive bowling on Sept. 30. The event will be held at 10pin Bowling Lounge, an upscale bowling alley in Chicago featuring a modern lounge.
Strike Out Cancer supports research, treatment and education for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This year, more than 1.5 million people will be diagnosed with cancer.
10pin Bowling Lounge is located at 330 N. State St. in Chicago. The event takes place from 6 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. To register online, visit www.cityofhope.org/insurance. To register by phone, contact Sarah Maraccini at 312-781-9290, ext. 14.
The NIIC was founded in 1978 by a group of key insurance industry executives and is composed of the most prominent property and casualty companies, law firms, brokers, accounting firms, reinsurers, executive placement firms and actuaries in the insurance industry. Motivated by its commitment to innovative medical research and quality patient care, and inspired by the guiding humanitarian principles of City of Hope, the NIIC has raised more than $19 million through its fundraising efforts.
