I suggest if you want a beer at Kilroy’s, go before they close down. They’ll never survive the evental judgements, covered or not, stemming from this tragedy.

What tent can hold up to 90 mph wind? That is hurricane strength. Houses fall apart in 90 mph wind.

All of us have been to events in these same type of tents. But not a good choice in any severe weather. We have gusty winds and the tent shaking and flapping would be an indicator to leave for safer cover and that is at 30mph gusts! So who would believe a tent of any kind withstands 90mph wind? Should be personal responsibility of the patrons but it will sadly come to rest on the bar owners for not clearing the tent, but where would they send patrons, in the open? No room inside or they would not need the tnt. Not a good plan and I think that starts with the city issuing a permit!

Wow this is amazing. Tornado alley…spring…last year’s events… How bad does it have to get before you take cover?

Bottom line, they’re just not that safe, even when they’re erected correctly and there are no defective/deficient materials. Cowboys had a permament tent-like covering at Valley Ranch facility and it came down in high winds, that was a sad day also.

    prayers for familiies…
