I don’t get it. I have been called all kinds of names and have had racist epiphets hurled at me over the years. My sister and I once asked our father how come we had been called fish eaters, spaghetti benders, wops, and other things at school. We were not offended-we just wanted to know why. In my professional life I have been called a redneck, a cracker, a honky, and other things but since I don’t thrive on being offended I don’t dwell on them.

A Hitler receipt and references to white power was a stupid thing to do but unless the “victim” wanted to feel harmed and offended there would be no case here.

BTW- I have British, Italian, and Jamaican ancestry so you all can call me any names you like. I’ll either laugh it off or just forget about it.

The person suing is the employee that was fired, not the customer.

The employee is saying that the store erroneously labeled her as hte racist one.

That’s not what this case is about. This is about the employee getting fired and allegedly being defamed by the employer.

What on earth was this employer THINKING? Their employee was clearly an innocent victim in this whole affair. Why they went out of their way to suggest otherwise is bewildering.
