InPro Insurance Group, a Troy, Mich.-based independent insurance agency, has acquired Industrial Insurance Services Inc. of Troy.
Through the agreement, the Industrial Insurance Services’ team and book of health insurance business will be integrated into InPro’s existing personal, commercial, and life and health business. The transaction became effective July 1.
The Industrial Insurance Services team — including Paul Pomerleau, Chuck Pomerleau, Kristin Hendren and Kate DiAntonio — will join InPro’s Troy office, gaining access to the company’s portfolio of commercial and personal insurance products and resources.
As an independent agency, InPro represents property and casualty insurance companies such as Travelers, Hartford, Hanover, Accident Fund, Philadelphia and Auto Owners, in addition to all major healthcare insurers.
Industrial Insurance Services’ clients will not encounter any service or policy changes as a result of the acquisition. To ensure a seamless transition, Industrial Insurance Services phone calls, web visits and mail will be forwarded accordingly.
InPro currently employs 28 professionals counseling clients regarding personal, commercial, and life and health insurance needs.
InPro Insurance Group is a full-service independent insurance agency that offers competitive personal, commercial, life and health insurance products for individuals, groups and companies. Located in Troy, Mich., the company began in 1973 as Expert Underwriters.
