    One would think that would be one of the perks of being a police officer. Just as long as they didn’t share it with the outside world. If anything she lost 100 lbs and they thought she was now attractive. What woman wouldn’t like that? Good for her, but come on lady we are all human. You can’t take the man out of men and the wo out of women. Lawsuits like this will go on forever with her winning. Now if they used the information to stalk her, that would be different.

      Effectively they WERE stalking her.

      And use of official databases for personal curiosity while on the job is considered abuse of position/power and a violation of privacy laws.

      Yes, I understand that a lot of that information can be obtained through a public records request with the appropriate agency, but part of that request is a little section that asks WHY the information is required.
