The two largest insurance auctions in the country have spent millions on opening up bidding for people worldwide. So this article is really about follow the money and the political contributions. They are also trying to do the same thing in Michigan but so far the Auto Recyclers of Michigan Assoc. has lobbied to stop this from happening.
If you want to see just what the largest auto auction lets happen every day go to salvageresearch.com
Every week this site shows examples of the fraud which goes on at these auctions. Ohio and Michigan should look into these practices before opening up their state. Presently, the scam artist dealers don’t run many vehicles through these states because of the less exposure to worldwide bidding. It will all change if the big auction companies have their way.
