Yes, $81M is a bit high for punitive damages. You know what? They need to fix their procedures so they get the right delinquent. Maybe they need a little incentive to actually do the job for which they are getting paid.

This is a ridiculous verdict that will get appealed and overturned. If you truly believe this is a reasonable verdict you have major issues

Another plaintiffs’ lawyer has probably outsmarted himself and obtained a verdict that likely will not withstand scrutiny on appeal.
Unbelievable, not the $82 million award but that there are two people out there named “Maria Guadalupe Mejia Alcantara”.
