17 DUI’s. Really? This man should have gotten 10 years in the penitentiary rather than jail. They should have a 3 strikes and you are in for a while.

“The sentence allows Gast to leave jail on work release after 48 hours in custody if he can verify employment.”
You’d think the court would also warrant something like the requirement for someone to drive him to the jobsite. Unless they think it would be ‘cool’ for him to drive alone, again.

Can they confiscate his wheels too, and the car of anybody who lets him drive theirs?? Like, permanently take the car away?

Some pot smoker gets 20 to life while this guy is out driving around….

I agree with you Insurance Mom, takes his car and license, but I bet he still finds a way. Someone would sell him a car and he would still drive because there are no serious consequences for his actions.

    I. Can’t. Even.

I’m never driving through Kansas again, and I’m personally shocked that this loser hasn’t murdered anyone yet. Government is there to serve and protect US…..how do their DUI laws benefit/protect public? Something needs to change NOW.

    Happy Monday…….
